The Business Challenge

The client was looking for a system that could take care of its front and back office requirements like billing, inventory, customer details, etc. The head office will perform the functions related to purchase, distribution, pricing and promotions, daily reports on sales, inventory, returns, etc.
ITC was looking for an integrated system that would enable the head office to be in direct control of all the stores and store all the information at one place. In addition to that they were looking at POS that would be able to handle their needs and provide all the functionalities in a simplified manner.

The Solution

Zensar’s SmartshopTM Enterprise, which included HQ, BO and POS. The three work in conjunction with each other fulfilling all the requirements of the retail market solution. Some of the features have been customized to suit the requirements of the client in a phased manner.
