The Business Challenge

The client felt the need for implementing an efficient Business Data Warehouse system since a data warehouse can be a very effective means of organizing and analysing the complex barrage of information generated in the business, and would help to generate a more effective business model. Also intelligent reporting would lead to increased customer satisfaction.

The Solution

Following are the major enhancements done in recent months:

  • Store Stock Management - SSM is a "Real Time" store stock system that will be provided via Reporting system to improve stock accuracy and availability information to store, Distribution Centers and Head Office. SSM will provide the business with an accurate and up-to-date stock position of all GM stock within the supply chain.
  • SaaS to Suppliers – There is a large amount of information exchange between the buying departments and the supply base, which is automated to reduce the effort, required by users & help to work collaboratively with Suppliers. Suppliers are given access to few reports via internet to anticipate reduction of costs, increased availability and improved visibility in terms of speeding up communication process & taking required action.
  • Unmade Balance Of Contract – To provide the view of stock where about prior to it arriving in UK. Report provides visibility to merchandisers reducing communication with Supply chain managers and enables them to make better-informed decisions about stock flow.
