The client had its Enterprise Applications running on Oracle Applications Release 10.7/SC. With intensive web initiatives brought on by global growth, the client required a web-based solution for their ERP processing. They decided to implement two major supply chain initiatives using Oracle Applications Release 11i suite as the base system. The two initiatives were the Unified Order Entry (UOE) and Regional Fulfillment Center (RFC). Under UOE, the client looked to implement a single unified order entry and management system in order to provide all of their different worldwide sales units with one single interface to enter and manage orders. The implementation required the integration of Oracle Application Suite with client’s 3rd Party Logistics partner.
