The need was to manage and maintain, consistent, and validated manager relationships globally which will enable all HR and non-HR processes that depend on reporting relationships. This is achieved by implementing Multiple manger hierarchy module in PeopleSoft HRMS to support the current unique structure of their organisation.
Zensar was involved in design, development and deployment of this module in Europe region and subsequent roll out in other regions. Client has PeopleSoft HRMS 8.3 in place globally but because of the unique structure they had to get the module customized, which will allow HR Owners to maintain multiple types of managers for each employee. Zensar’s role in this project includes designing and developing of maintenance processes and tools and deployment of these processes and tolls in all four regions. Europe is the first instance in which this functionality is rolling off. This functionality will provide HR Manager with the ability to mass maintenance, individual manger maintenance, notification process and escalation of notification to manger if the maintenance is pending for over 2 weeks.
