The customer is a venture-backed company developing IT infrastructure software that enables enterprises to unlock the full potential of complex web application environments. Founded in October 2001, the company has the backing of Charles River Ventures and IDG Ventures.
The customer wanted an offshore team that would be an integral part of their own development team from Day 1. The extended team had to work in tandem with the US teams, and be involved in core development, R&D & QA. They were looking for a partner that could provide a customized team and willing to flex on certain requirements. Agile development methodologies had to be implemented in a 'Dual Shore' model.
Development team
Zensar’s engineering team is a true extension of the customers core engineering team, participating in design and development of the product & contributing in shaping the product in terms technical and functional design.
Quality Assurance team
The customer has its QA team almost entirely based at Zensar. The team of testers led by an offshore test manager co-ordinates the entire testing effort with the QA team lead at on-site. The team is responsible for test planning, writing, executing and automating test cases.
