MUMBAI: Zensar Technologies is launching a client assurance organisation and an in-house crowdsourcing programme as the company puts in place new processes to boost growth.Sandeep Kishore, who took over as CEO of the Pune-based IT services firm six months ago, said Zensar was working on transforming itself and taking its solutions to the clients.
"We have built a number of applications to become a digital enterprise ourselves and they range from filling time-sheets on the mobile to using our ZenVerse application to talk to the top leadership. Then can take this to clients and partner with them," Kishore told ET.
Zensar is majority owned by RPG Group, though private equity firm Apax bought close to 25% stake last year. Kishore said the company launched a client assurance organisation to help manage its top customers better.
"This is to drive account governance and structure and institutionalise how we work with our customers. It has already been implemented in the top ten accounts. We are also launching a crowdsourcing platform for employees to submit ideas," he said./br>Kishore said the platform would be launched in a month. IT companies are increasingly looking at tapping their existing workforce for innovative ideas. Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys and HCL Technologies run such programmes.Zensar has also invested in creating new solutions such as a robotic process automation, an offering for retail, and an internet-ofthings-based offering. The new solutions were showcased at the RPG Group's investor day in Mumbai last week. The company has also created a program to track client buying sentiment after the UK voted to leave the European Union last month. Kishore said tracking consumer sentiment post the vote would take a few months.
