Zensar Technologies profit up 14% for Q4FY19

Pune: Zensar Technologies NSE 4.94 % reported a net profit of Rs 82.7crore, up 13.9% over the corresponding quarter last year, and total revenues of Rs 1057.4 crore, up 2.1% for the quarter ended 31st March, 2019. In dollar terms, revenues were up 18.5% at $150 million. Digital services contributed 46.4% to the quarterly revenue.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 313.6 crore for FY19, up 29.8 %. In dollar terms, the company reported a 202% increase in profit at $45 million, and 17.6% increase in revenue at $566.9 million.
Sandeep Kishore, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Zensar Technologies said,” FY19 has been a very good year for us with sustained improvement across all aspects of our business. Business growth was broad based with every business showing growth, led by our Digital and Next Gen Cloud and Infrastructure capabilities and backed by several large deal wins.”
About 80% of the incremental growth in revenue in FY19 came from the company’s digital offerings, and the digital business has been growing at twice the pace of the traditional business. Digital contributed 44.7% to the overall FY19 revenue. Kishore said that the company’s focus on mining the top accounts was also paying off, with the Top 20 accounts growing significantly faster than the overall business.
The total headcount at the end of FY19 was 10,073 and the company reported attrition at 15.6% for the year.
