The Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) study is in its eighth edition this year and is the most comprehensive gender analytics exercise in corporate India. More than 350 companies participated in the study, which evaluated companies on their efforts towards gender diversity and inclusion, including workforce profile, policies for recruitment, training, retention, advancement, safety, security, flexible work, parental benefits, work-life programs, company culture, and management accountability.

At this current rate, a 50:50 gender balance at Best Companies will be a reality by 2030 – a much sooner time frame given the post-pandemic repercussions.”
