Vijayasimha Alilughatta (Vijay) is the Chief Operating Officer at Zensar and is based out of Bangalore. Over his 27+ years of association with the IT industry, Vijay has focused on client delight, execution excellence, building world-class teams, and delivering industry-leading profitable growth.

Before joining Zensar, Vijay worked at Wipro Limited as the COO for the largest global business line comprising over 100K employees. He was instrumental in establishing the overall operating model for this unit and enabling the group to consistently deliver double-digit growth. Before this, he was the Global Delivery Head of the $2.5 billion BFSI unit, pivotal in establishing trust-based partnerships with marquee clients in the BFSI sector. Preceding this, Vijay worked at Infosys for 18 years and held several roles across delivery, practice, pre-sales, and sales. He has successfully scaled many Fortune 500 client accounts into large, fruitful partnerships.

Vijay has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University, India.
