Vivek Ranjan

With over 26 years of experience leading HR for diverse workforces, Vivek has been instrumental in driving business growth and fostering a thriving workplace culture. His extensive global expertise and demonstrated success in scaling businesses underscore his role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Zensar.

Before joining Zensar, Vivek served as the Head of HR at Ericsson India Global Services, overseeing HR for 22,000 employees in the information and communications technology sector. He laid the foundation for a “great place-to-work” culture, elevating Ericsson India to a top-ranking company in the GPTW survey. Prior to Ericsson, Vivek spent 12 years in the UK, driving the establishment and growth of European operations for multinational IT firms, including HCL, iGATE, Mastek, and NIIT.

Vivek holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and is a Chartered Member of CIPD (MCIPD), UK. He has completed Executive Education Programs from The Wharton School, Questrom School of Business, Boston, and the Indian School of Business (ISB). Vivek is also a certified Change Management Leader (Prosci) and has been actively engaged in GPTW circles, having served as a member of the Best Places to Work executive committee. Beyond his professional achievements, he is passionate about sports and regularly plays tennis, badminton, and cricket.
